Splash Babies
Hi, I am Celeste the Regional Manager with Noonan Family Swim School (NFSS) and I wanted to take a few minutes to tell you a little about our infant and toddler swim program – Splash Babies. Monica Noonan and I designed NFSS’s Splash Babies program with the mission to teach infants and toddlers in a safe and loving environment. We are starting this blog as a place for families to learn, ask questions, and share some laughs about infant and toddler swim lessons.
First, let me take some time to tell you a little about Monica and myself. Monica and her husband opened NFSS to teach children and their families how to swim and ultimately to help them develop a lifelong love and respect for the water. I joined their team in 2004 with a lifetime of aquatic experiences and we have been working closely together ever since then. What has made our Splash Babies program so unique and robust is our differing backgrounds, the knowledge that we bring to the table from those backgrounds, and ultimately our love of learning that has driven us to continually research swimming, infant swimming and infant/toddler development.
When we began our Splash Babies program we traveled the country to find out what some of the best baby swimming programs in the country are doing and how they do it. We have done extensive research, reading any available Baby Swimming books that are on the market and studying infant/toddler development to ensure that our techniques correspond with each child’s developmental needs. Then to tie everything together we both bring extensive life experiences to the program.
Thanks for taking a moment to check out our blog, check us out again to see valuable information and answers to questions regarding infant & toddler aquatics. Please feel free to ask us any questions that you may have regarding infant & toddler swimming.
I will leave everyone with our #1 tip for success:
Have Fun! – Your child’s main mode of learning is play. Play teaches infants and toddlers that the water is fun!
